PG&E Energy Partners Program

The Energy Partners Program provides qualified low-income customers free weatherization measures and energy-efficient appliances to reduce gas and electricity usage.

Criteria:

  1. Your household's total annual gross income must not exceed income guidelines. (Energy Partners and the CARE program have the same income guidelines, so if you qualify for Energy Partners, you may also qualify for CARE.)
  2. You must receive gas and/or electricity from Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
  3. Your residence did not participate in the Energy Partners Program in the past 10 years.

Here are examples of measures that may be provided:

  • Attic insulation
  • Caulking
  • CFLs
  • Door weather-stripping
  • Energy-saver shower head
  • Minor home repair
  • Water heater blanket

The following appliances may be replaced for qualified customers:

  • Refrigerator
  • Evaporative coolers

  • Medi-Cal
  • TANF (AFDC)
  • Food Stamps
  • WIC
  • Healthy Families Category A & B
  • SSI
  • LIHEAP
  • NSL Free Lunch Program
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
  • Head Start Income Eligible (Tribal Only)
